NOTE: The difference between 303, 304 and 316 Stainless is the % of Nickel and Chromium in the alloy - a
higher number = a greater percentage. Although 303 offers the best machinability, 304 is more corrosion resistant
and wear resistant - a better bearing grade. 316 offers the best corrosion resistance in this family ( marine grade ss ),
is harder and is also a good match for our Teflon Composite Bearings. Because of cost and available
off-the-shelf inventory, LM76 recommends 304.
