Low Profile - Washdown - Medical Research Slide

This slide was designed around a medical application where human bones are machined into fasteners. Donated bones are turned into screws in the hope
that they can replace traditional stainless fasteners employed in repairing fractures and bone injuries.
These "bone" fasteners fuse into the bones unlike stainless screws which remain dissimilar and
separate. These fasteners increase "pull-out" strength and increase the load bearing properties of the repair.

This slide is hand operated with a Nickel Plated Handle, stainless fasteners and FDA Compliant plastic nut. All aluminum surfaces are ceramic coated aluminum for FDA compliance, washdown and lightweight handling. The bearing material .025" thick PTFE
is FDA compliant and self lubricating.

Subsequent designs feature assembly screw positions from under the slide as opposed to on top - cutting down on debris/bacteria entrapment areas.

As always, the customer asked and we complied.
