LM76 Fluidline
Linear Bearings are an internally lubricated thermoplastic polyester
which
provides for enhanced wear and chemical inertness. Fluidline
Linear bearings
are self-lubricating,
low friction, lightweight, low wear material is excellent
in
applications
which require
FDA,
USDA and 3A
compliance. This bearing is available in standard
off-the-shelf sizes which
are drop-in replacements
for all inch (metric available upon
request)
linear ball bearings. Fluidline linear
bearings feature excellent
washdown resistance.
Fluidline linear bearings exhibit a stunning
operational smoothness when matched
with
our ceramic coated aluminum
shafting(also FDA/USDA compliant). Standard
pillow block
and flange
block assemblies
are also available. NOTE: Bearings
available in closed
version
only.

Chemical Resistance Chart
High mechanical strength,
stiffness and
hardness
Very good creep resistance Low
and constant coefficient of friction
Excellent wear resistance
(comparable to
or even better than nylon grades)
Very good dimensional stability
(better than polyacetal)
Physiologically inert (suitable
for food contact)
Excellent stain resistance Better
resistance to acids than nylon and polyacetal
Good electrical insulating
properties Good resistance against
high energy radiation
(gamma-and X-rays)

K Factor or Wear Rate is expressed by a number.
The lower the number, the better the wear rate.
For instance,
popular Delrin™ AF has a K Factor of 60.
