Standard "Y" dimension of in-stock shafts and rails is 1/2 of the "X" dimension, but different first hole locations may be specified, providing that they do not exceed the
"X" dimension.

Unlimited Lengths
SHAFT JOINTS

Assembly shafts can be doweled with a concentricity of .002" or can simply have butted ends to obtain
longer lengths. In each case, the mating ends are machined square and there is no chamfer.
