Jet Shafting is corrosion resistant 303 Stainless Steel, Class L shafting which features a thin, hard chrome satin finish. JET finish helps to inhibit "sticktion" or the increased break-away friction commonly associated with sleeve/sliding friction bearings. Use JET Shafting (SST) in combination with our Minuteman or FDA/USDA Self Lube, PTFE Composite Linear Bearings. NOTE: all Linear Ball Bearing slides (B) come standard with hardened RC60 steel shafting.
