FDA Lite™ Linear Motion Bearings
LM76 is a pioneer in the design and manufacture
of linear motion bearings for FDA/USDA Compliancy and Washdown
applications. Our standard, 300 series
FDA linear bearings are a standard in the food process,
medical/pharmaceutical and lab/science industries. We were
been asked by a customer to develop a FDA/Washdown
rated bearing that would both weigh less and cost less. Our
answer is the FDA Lite™. Made with our Ceramic Coated
Aluminum Shell and our self-lubricating FDA white, PTFE
composite liner, this bearing offers FDA/USDA compliancy,
is 1/4 the weight of 300 series stainless and costs less.

When APL Marine was searching for a way to secure ship
search lights to their huge Panamax Container Ships,
they called LM76. We designed an all weather system
that would sail the 7 seas.

LM76 delivers monster shafting
and bearing system to
high tech company. LM76 was chosen by a company which
requires extremely tight security to deliver a linear system
for a massive weight. Because steel was not allowed in the
the vicinity of the system, we supplied special 3" diameter
304 SS shafting and mounted it on supports. These
systems ( 4 ) were over 24 feet long. Our
customer was
extremely pleased we tackled the job, delivered on
time and met their price requirements. Proving
once
again that LM76 is the company " That EXCEEDS the Challenge!"

ceramic coated aluminum shafting. This
easy-to-use shafting is lightweight, washdown resistant
and extremely competitive. Sizes available: 1/2" - 3/4"

1" diameters. Each size has an ID core which allows for
better cooling, wire, cable and hose storage
while coming in at a fighting weight that is less than
the competition. Extruded lengths to 72"
and cut-to-length sizes. These are designed to be work
with our LM76 PTFE Composite and FDA/USDA
Compliant Linear Motion Bearings.
